One of our dearest friends and member of the leguano community is Jackie Wilson aka @deadlyninjawarrior. Jackie is proud of his indigenous origin, and a one-of-a-kind character with an amazing story. Two years after breaking a vertebrae during a 30m cliff dive Jackie made his successful comeback at the Australian Ninja Warrior series – in leguanos!
Since wearing leguanos, I have found my gait (walking) pattern has improved as my foot can now work correctly as it was designed, and I feel like I am gliding or more efficiently walking.
We are stoked to announce that we have partnered with Melbourne based Movement Specialists Health Systems Go. HSG offer specialised services in Podiatry, Myotherapy and Paediatrics to name a few, and you can now try on and purchase your first pair of our leguanos at their premises in Ringwood, VIC.
We’re thrilled to be partnering with the team from Nurcha Cafe on the Sunshine Coast who have started to range an initial selection of our leguanos at their cafe and store in Buderim/Maroochydore. Nurcha is a family-owned and operated business which serves wholesome, 100% plant based foods from their vegan menu in their cafe. In the adjacent retail shop they offer natural and eco-friendly products for the conscious shopper.
After months of planning, crunching numbers backwards and forwards, hopes and doubts and considerations of what might or might not happen we decided to do it: We are opening leguano’s first retail store in Australia and couldn’t be more excited about it!
